Meet Holly: Holly drives a BMW X3 3.oSi and lives in Cary NC. She first started visiting Peak Auto in July of this year after driving over railroad tracks and thinking there was damage to the rear suspension. Holly’s recent visit was for a Service engine soon light that was on, otherwise known as a check engine light. She dropped off her BMW X3 at Peak Auto, picked up a BMW 740il loaner vehicle, and Peak Auto called her shortly there after explaining that the check engine light was caused by a malfunction from her engines crankshaft inlet cam. This malfunction can be caused by just bad oil.
Peak Auto, located next to the Cary Auto Mall at 833 US 64 West in Apex NC, recommended an oil change using the newest BMW full synthetic oil made by Pennzoil, then resetting the service engine soon light. Peak Auto also informed Holly that she had a few oil leaks, that are common on the BMW straight six cylinder engines. Holly approved the oil change, a few leak repairs and we order the parts and informed the technician.
Peak Auto performed the requested repairs, washed Holly’s BMW X3, then call her to inform Holly that her BMW X3 was ready to be picked-up. Holly appreciated the loaner vehicle, the car washed and cleaned, and the timely manner in which this all occurred.
